DbCD Universal is fast and powerful CDs and DVDs catalogiser. It allows to store dir structure from CD into separate .cd-file, and lately watch information without disk into your drive. Also, DbCD supports a lot of plugins, so you are able to extract a lot useful info while scanning disk. Picture thumbnails, music tracks, archive dir, part of text files and more!

DbCD Universal has a lot of useful features:

1. DbCD supports multitask - you don't need to wait while scanning will be finished. You can watch info in your base, run search, set comments for another CDs in your base - and all of it while scanning!
2. You can busy all your drives - DbCD support parallel downloading from all drives.
3. Easy interface allows you to work with your database, without questions like "How to do..?".
4. Powerful plugins support allows you to select, what content do you want to save in image, and lately view this content without self CD.
5. Fast search helps you to find needed information very fast.
6. Stable work is one of main ideas while developing this project.
7. You can set comment for every file, folder, CD, category or owner - this information will be helpful while searching.
8. You can keep your own collection and collections of your friends in the same database!
9. Each CD stores as a single file with ".cd" extension, so you are able to bring only this .cd-file to your friend and show him your new CDs. So you don't need to bring the whole base!
10. If you want to bring to friend your "light base" - only list of your CDs, without any info from them (without files structure, info from plugins, comments for files etc), then you need to bring only one file "database.ddb", it is about 30-40 kbytes.
